Edmund CHAN, Associate Director, responsible for the acquisition, development and production of textbooks and reference content in both print and digital formats. He also helps shape the university publishing internship programme and speaks regularly at industry events on a variety of publishing topics for students and junior professionals.

He is currently Director of Hong Kong Publishing Federation and Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Publishing Professionals Society. Edmund also serves on boards for advising the training needs in printing and publishing for several institutions.

Chris CHAN, Editor, assesses new manuscript submissions and develops manuscripts in the Gateway Education series. She edits a broad range of subject areas, including but not limited to literature and culture, Asian studies, politics and social work.

Jasmine CHAN, Editor, edits manuscripts and oversees the detailed progress of titles from manuscript to publication. She works across different subjects including history, social science and law, with a focus on Chinese language and literature.

Abby MANTHEY, Editor, responsible for appraising, developing, and producing general and academic English-language texts. Although her background is in the biological sciences, she accepts and edits submissions from a range of other fields, including history, law, and social science.
